Rebecca Miller was the daughter of Isaac Miller (1782-1858) & Esther Gleim (1789-1831).

She was married about 1839 at Fox River, Illinois, as the 1st wife of Milton Bourne (1810-1865), who, during most of his married life, was a Methodist Episcopal minister, servicing churches in Wisconsin & Illinois.
