Davis, Calif. - Services for Milo Navy, 90, of Davis, Calif., former resident of Iowa City, will be Wednesday at the George L. Gay Funeral Home in Iowa City. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Novy died at his home in Davis, Calif., Wednesday morning after a sudden illness.

He was born Nov. 20, 1900, in Johnson County, a son of Josef and Julia Buresh Novy. He attended Irish Business College and was an assistant cashier and loan officer at Iowa State Bank. He married Libby G. Sirowy on Oct. 3, 1923, in Iowa City. The Novys resided at 519 N. Johnson St. until 1976 when they moved to California. He was a pilgrim member of the Moose, Eagles Lodge and CSA.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry of Ridgewood, N.J.; two daughters, Dorothy Nunn of Davis, Calif., and Marjorie Mack of Mesa, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren ; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Emil Novy of North Liberty and Joe of Swisher; and a sister, Libby Cuhel of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by a sister.
