Peggy (Baldridge) Williams left this world after a lengthy illness on Friday, September 7, 2012, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She was born on March 2, 1948, to Fair and Virginia Baldridge who preceded her in death, along with her older brother, the Rev. Billy Fair Baldridge.

Peggy, known affectionately as Grammus to her grandchildren, loved her Lord and had a beautiful smile that revealed her giving and loving heart.

She graduated from Whitehouse High School. Peggy served on the boards of MDA and Azleway Boys Ranch, and was a secretary/treasurer for the Rose City Rodders. For the past 12 years she was a teacher at Southern Oaks Baptist Church. Being a breast cancer survivor, one of her passions was working with cancer support groups and providing hope to others.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Johnny; sons, Darwin and Shane; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Susan Baldridge; grandchildren, Brandon Anthony Noble, Blayne Austin Noble and Christan Nichole Williams; Johnny's sister and her husband, Georgia and Jerry Harris; and several nieces and nephews.
