Michael Elliott, 55, beloved husband of Barbara Jean Elliott, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday morning, September 16, 2012, at MUSC.
Mr. Elliott was born a son of Doddie "DW" Wasdon Elliott and Pauline Howard Elliott on January 16, 1957 in Georgetown. He was a 35 year employee with Kroger Grocery Store. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Sand Hill Hunting club.
He leaves behind: his wife; two children, Kathleen "Katie" Marie Elliott and Julie Ann Elliott. He also leaves behind: five brothers, Paul "Tykie" (Libby) Howard, Doddie Wayne Elliott, J. Alvin (Jennie Lee) Elliott, Glen E. (Kathy) Elliott, Melvin A. "Dooley" (Teresa) Elliott; three sisters, Marilyn F.(Paul) Roy, Patricia A. (Michael) Moorefield, and Teressa L. (Joe) Smith. He was predeceased by his parents.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2PM, Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Sampit United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery directed by the Georgetown Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday evening, September 18, 2012, at the Andrews Chapel.
