She was born in Auburn, on March 7, 1921, the daughter of Earle and Beatrice LeClair Grant. June attended schools in North Raymond, Mechanic Falls and North Yarmouth Academy.
She worked at the shipyard in Bath during World War II, as a waitress at Poland Spring Mansion House, at heel factories in Lewiston-Auburn and as a domestic. She was a member of American Legion Post 150 Auxiliary in Mechanic Falls. She married Frank Allard in 1945, he died Jan. 15, 1994.
June is survived by her daughter, Jackie Simoneau of Lewiston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons, Ronald and Deane; and her sister, Lorraine.
