Obituary

Bob Sadler, 63, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 18. 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired general manager of Clear Channel Outdoor, veteran of the U.S. Army and the Vietnam War, recipient of the Purple Heart, member and deacon of Greenwood First Baptist Church, member of Harris-Hannah V.F.W. Post #6527, 32nd degree mason and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #197; he was a graduate of Greenwood High School Class of 1967.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at Greenwood First Baptist Church with burial at Cross Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the Greenwood First Baptist Church, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.

Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie; two sons, Wes Sadler and wife, Suzanne of Greenwood and Chad Sadler and wife, Jennifer of Springdale; one sister, Linda Wilkinson and husband, Jerry of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Weston, Brady, Tatum, Ashton and Grace Sadler and a host of friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Roscoe Sadler and two brothers, Donny and Charles "Nub" Sadler.

Pallbearers will be Jackie and Randy Davis, Jack and Jim Hackney, Shane and Ryan Sadler, Kevin and Clint McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob's Sunday School Class.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to Cross Cemetery, P.O. Box 751, Greenwood, AR 72936.
