Penfield: Passed away suddenly Monday, September 17, 2012 at age 71. She was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Mary Kearney, her sister, Mimi, her brother, Ed (survived by sister-in-law, Rosemary) all of Syracuse, NY. She was a member of Saint Louis Church, Pittsford, a graduate of the Convent School in Syracuse, D'Youville College in Buffalo, and SUNY Brockport. One of her proudest accomplishments was her 23-year career as a school nurse teacher at St. Louis School and Thornell Road School. During that time, she served as co-founder and past president of the NYS Association of School Nurses. She greatly cherished her many deep friendships and considered laughter one of life's greatest gifts.
