William Arthur "Bud" Brown Jr., 80, of 8 Watson Road, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 1999, at his home.
Mr. Brown was a son of the late William Arthur Sr. and Minnie Ballew Brown, he was an Army veteran of World War II, a member of the Pelzer Masonic Lodge, and a Shriner. He was a retired machinist having owned his own business for many years and was a member of Travelers Rest United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Theda W. Brown of the home; two sons, Keith Brown of Simpsonville and Stanley Brown of Piedmont; three sisters; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Piedmont.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 today at The Howze Mortuary.
