MARY ECHOLS is the daughter of Tymond Echols and Mary Sanders Echols.

She graduated from Oak Lawn High School in Waxahachie, Texas and attended Prairie View A&M College.

Mary Echols married Robert J. Queenan on July 27, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mary Echols Queenan was a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess, member of Ruth Circle Mission #2, charter member of Bible Class #1; and Usher Board #1.

She was a professional seamstress and worked for many years at Wally Williams Ladies Fashion Boutique in downtown Fort Worth. Later she served as a receptionist for Meals-On-Wheels Senior Citizens Services.

She was a member of Eula Elizabeth Chapter #200, Order of Eastern Star.

At the time of her demise, she is survived by daughters, Evelyn Robinson and Lauree Smith (and husband Jim Smith); nephew, Eugene Allen (and wife Ruby).
