Josiah LeFevre, one of the oldest residents of New Paltz, died on Saturday at his home in that village, aged 79 years. He is survived by a widow, three daughters, Sarah, wife of Johnston Hasbrouck; Cornelia, wife of Cornelius Van Orden, and Gertrude, widow of Peter E. LeFevre, and one son, Josiah P. LeFevre, who lives on the old homestead farm at Gardiner. The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at his late residence.
