THERESIA BACKHAUS
Mrs. Nick Backhaus died Sunday October 25 at the Valders hospital after an operation for gall stones and was buried yesterday with services at St. Gregory's church, the Rev. Deibele officiating.
Mrs. Backhaus was born in the town of Herman in 1887 and was married in 1914. The deceased is survived by her husband and eight children, Mary, Rosa, Anna, Loretta, Joseph, Edmund, Henry and Frank all of St. Nazianz. Four brothers and five sisters also survive, they are: Frank Wesling of Greenwood, Henry Wesling, South Dakota, Joseph Wesling, Marshfield, Ben Wesling of Plymouth, Mrs. Nick Wagner, Cleveland, Mrs. John Lindeman, Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Rudolph Kirsch, Ada, Mrs. William Klein, Cleveland and Mrs. Nick Weiter also of Cleveland.
