Mr. Roger Dean Howell, age 55, of 49 Howell Bend Road, Adairsville, passed away Friday, August 6, 2010 at Cartersville Medical Center.
He was born December 22, 1954, in Rome, GA, son of Beatrice Howell Brown and the late Emmett L. Howell. Mr. Howell was of the Baptist faith and has been an employee of Georgia Power in Cartersville for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his father and a granddaughter, Lexi Rubio.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Jane Howell of Adairsville; 2 daughters and a son-in-law Leisha and Pablo Rubio of Cartersville and Lindsay Howell of Cartersville; a step-son, Stephen Suit of Rome; mother and step-father, Beatrice and W F Brown of Adairsville; 2 grandsons, Jordan Durham and Eli Rubio and a granddaughter, Logan Rubio; 2 brothers and sister-in-laws, Calvin and Nancy Howell of Adairsville and David and Vicki Howell of Blairsville; a sister and brother-in-law Diane and Donald Collum of Adairsville; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Roger Howell.
