Frances M. Rohrbaugh, 87, formerly of Hanover, died Sunday September 30, 2012 at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester, Md.

Frances was born on August 11, 1925 in Manheim Twp., a daughter of the late Calvin S. and Tersie (Hamme) Rohrbaugh.

She was a seamstress for the Quilt Factory in Hanover for many years. She also had worked at Stauffer's Bakery, York, and made pies at Paul Mandel Bakery, Hanover. She was a life long member of St. Jacob's "Stone" UCC Church and was a resident of Longview Nursing home since November of 2010. She loved to put yarn on hangers, listen to George Strait, eat out, watch the Baltimore Orioles, and eat peanut butter.

She leaves behind a son, Barry L. Rohrbaugh and his wife Shirley of Hanover; a granddaughter, Nichelle Knaublocks; five step grandchildren, Peggy Rodgers, Tina Schjie and her husband Brian, Melanie Berwager and her husband Russell, Tracey Lawver and her husband Wayne, and Travis Swartzbaugh; one step great-grandson, Austin Swartzbaugh; a sister, Arlene V. Crowl of Richmond, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Jacob's "Stone" United Church of Christ, 5152 Stone Church Road, Glenville, with the Rev. Barbara J. Brenneman officiating.

Burial will be in St. Jacob's "Stone" Church Cemetery.
