Obituary Reflections of Life:
Everlyn Sharpe Bellinger was born on October 15, 1940 to the late Moses and Gustine Sharpe of Walterboro, SC. She departed this life on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at her home in Sniders, SC.
Everlyn attended the Colleton County Schools in South Carolina and went on to complete a 20 year career with Colleton Medical Center as an Operation Room Central Supply Clerk. After marrying the late Leon Williams in July of 1962, she completed her family with the addition of Errol Scott Williams.
Everlyn entered into Holy Matrimony once again with the late Peter Bellinger of Walterboro, SC.
Everlyn was an active member of Deep Creek Baptist Church in Islandton, SC, having served on the Adult Choir. She later became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Walterboro, SC.
Everlyn leaves a loving legacy to be continued by her son, Errol Scott Williams; step-father, Richard A. Crosby, Sr.; brothers, James K. Sharpe (Allean) of Ruffin, SC, Rev. Joseph R. Sharpe, Sr. (Bertha) of Walterboro, SC, Richard A. Crosby, Jr. (Linda) of Charleston, SC, and Allen T-Hodges Crosby of Walterboro, SC; sisters, Genovis Gordon of Walterboro, SC, Linda Samuels of Asheville, NC, and Valerie Darby of Queens NY. three sisters-in-law, Helen Sharpe, Janie Smalls, and Debbie Sharpe of Asheville, NC; two aunts, Hattie Goff of Ruffin, SC and Ethel B. Sharpe of Ruffin, SC; one uncle, Louis Sharpe (Ethel) of Ruffin, SC; devoted friend, Linda Moultrie of Walterboro, SC; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded on death by her brothers, Cecil Sharpe and Ricardo Sharp; and sisters, Gail and Barbara Sharpe.
