Claude Herman Logan 89 of Amarillo died Monday October 08, 2012.

Memorial services will be at 10:00AM today in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Claude was cremated and his ashes are scattered in Memorial Park Cemetery in Amarillo in Rose Court. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home in Amarillo.

Claude was born August 10, 1923 to Charles and Nellie Logan. Claude served in the Navy during World War II. Claude married Marianne McFarland on March 24, 1994 in Amarillo. Claude was a precise marksman who won many tournaments with his rifle. Claude loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing, hunting and walking. Claude walked three miles a day. Claude liked to tease and laugh and was pleasant to be around. Claude was a loving father, husband and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Claude was preceded in death by his first wife Adelaide Logan; his parents Charles and Nellie Logan; and a brother Loyd Logan.

Survivors include his wife Marianne Logan; his sons Ed Logan and wife Jackie of Kansas and James Logan and wife Janna of Nebraska; his daughters Claudia Smith and husband Danny of Dumas and Brenda Haines and husband James of Pampa; 13 grandchildren; and a good friend Glen Hoffler of Dumas.
