Augustine, Frank J. (Oct. 24, 1906-June 22, 1986 –husband of Irene Gallagher –son of Francis Augustine and Mary Stueck –in the 1960's rented from the Salvatorians what is now the Florian Wazny house south of the Village on County A –on Sept. 11, 1969 purchased the house at 115 South Fifth Avenue –Irene lived in this house until her death in 1982 –Frank lived here until his death in 1986 –worked as concrete manufacturer at Portland Cement –died from "cardiac arrest – lymphoseticular malignancy with lung, spinal cord and abdominal metastasis") – 5-8-24

Frank J. Augustine, 79, of St. Nazianz, died Sunday afternoon June 22, 1986 at St. Mary Home, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:45 am Wednesday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz and 11 am at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate
with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Augustine was born Oct. 24, 1906 at Sheboygan, son of the late Frank and Mary Stueck Augustine.
He attended Antigo Public Schools. Mr. Augustine was employed at Portland Cement Company for many years retiring in 1972. He married the former Irene Gallagher on Jan. 8, 1933 at Waukegan, Ill. She preceded him in death Dec. 27, 1983. Mr. Augustine was a member of St. Nazianz Senior Citizens, American Red Cross Volunteer driver and a volunteer at the St. Nazianz Nutrition Site.
Survivors include six sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Mary of St. Nazianz, William and Mary Ann of Green Bay, Charles and Sandra of Manitowoc, Eugene and Janet of Manitowoc, Michael and Karen of Manitowoc and Daniel and Mary of Plymouth; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Richard Neumeyer of St. Nazianz, Rita and John Gleichner of Two Rivers and Ann and David Pollock of Manitowoc; three brothers, Clarence of Manitowoc, Eugene of Ellsworth, Wis., and Raymond of Loveland, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Peter (Marie) Schleis, Mrs. Edward (Ann) Kruppski and Mrs. Edward (Ceil) Schleis, all of Manitowoc; 27 grandchildren and a great great grandchild also survived. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, a granddaughter, two sisters and a brother.
