Mrs. Frank (Irene) Augustine, 72, of St. Nazianz, died Monday morning, Dec. 27, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:15 a.m. Thursday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril Dickrell will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Augustine, nee Irene Gallagher, was born Nov. 14, 1910, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late Daniel and Mary White Gallagher. She attended Osman schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc, and Manitowoc Teachers College. She taught school in the Newton School District. She was married to Frank Augustine Jan. 8, 1933, at Waukegan, Ill. Mrs. Augustine
was a member of St. Gregory Christian Mothers Society, St. Nazianz Senior Citizens and East St. Nazianz Homemakers.
Survivors include her husband, Frank, six sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Mary and Charles and Sandy of St. Nazianz, William and Mary Ann of Green Bay, Eugene and Janet and Michael and Karen of Manitowoc and Daniel and Mary of Plymouth; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy
and Richard Neumeyer of St. Nazianz, Rita and John Glechner of Two Rivers and Ann and David Pollack of Manitowoc; a brother, Maurice Gallagher of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Rosella Schroeder of Manitowoc and Mrs. Edward(Inez) Schnell of Milwaukee; 26 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Her parents, a son, a daughter, a granddaughter, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
