The funeral of Mrs Caroline Sheldon, mother of the late Mrs William Towne, a former resident of Frankfort, was held from her home in Oneonta yesterday and the remains brought to Frankfort for interment, where they were laid to rest in Oak View Cemetery, the Rev. Mr. Gates conducting the prayer service at the graveside. Those who attended from this vicinity and accompanied the remains here were her grandchildren. Mrs. Ward Robinson, Leigh Towne and Ruth Towne of Frankfort, Mrs. Beulah McGowan and Mrs. Russell of Ilion. Frank Tucker of Utica, Warren Towne of Clayville and a son and grandson from Pennsylvania.
