Baby Girl 1 Adams and Baby Girl 2 Adams were born to Stanley and Cordelia Mae (Clark) Adams on September 18,1933. The babies, twin were born at least a month early. Both babies died at birth. Cecelia was born at 9:45 a.m.. She lived only 30 minutes. She died at 10:15 a.m.
Their mother Cordelia stated on (Jan.17,2013 at the age of 98),that she started labor and know that there was a problem. So Stanley went for help ,with no other choice having to leave her and little daughter Minnie along until he returned with help. He went to the Thompson Lodge and asked Mrs. Thompson for help.Mrs. Thompson contacted the Dr.and then went to the help Cordelia till the Dr. arrived. After the Dr. and nurse got to the Adams home Cordelia delivered the babies. Cordelia and Stanley were both surprised to know that there was twins, they thought there was only one baby. The Dr. could not get either one of the babies to breath. Mom and Dad both held their babies and looked them over. Cordelia stated that the babies were full and looked normal and that they were girls, they just did not breath. After they held the babies the nurse and Mrs.Thompson wraped the babies. The Dr. and nurse took the babies with them when they left.The babies were buried at the Luarel Grove Cemtery in Springfield,Oregon.

Mrs Thompson and her husband owned The Thompson Lodge across the highway 126 and then across the Mckenzie River,there was a swinging bridge going across the river to get to the lodge. (The lodge was destroyed by fire in 1954).Stanley and Cordelia lived in a one room log cabin across from the lodge and highway 126 then up the hill in Vida,Oregon. Cordelia said it was a long walk to get to their cabin.Their neighbors on the way to the cabin were the Montgomery's two brother that lived in a near by house. They had two sisters that lived somewhere else in Vida.The Montgomery's were very freindly and helpful to them.On there daughter Minnie's birthday a few months before (or after,not sure)The Montgomery sisters gave Minnie a little red dress and the brothers gave her a pair of little red shoes.

By spring Cordelia's and sister Ruth and her husband Robert Stoops came to visit.Later the Adams moved back to Marion,Oregon with the help of Cordelia's brother Virgil Clark. Never to return to the Vida,Oregon area.
