Casper, Christian (Dec. 8, 1812-Nov. 17, 1891 –husband of Adelheide Sesing [married May 12, 1855 at Mount Calvary, Fond du Lac County] –son of Johann J. Casper and Margarethe Muellenbach [Johann and Margarethe were married June 20, 1797 in Welcherath (near Koblenz), Rhineland Palatinate, Germany] –born Brick [or Bruck], Berzirk Koblenz, Germany –Christian was a younger brother to Johann Michael Casper, who died in Germany but whose wife and 4 children immigrated to the US after 1870 –included among these children was Joseph M. Casper (1855-1900) –miller –immigrated to the US sometime before 1855 –on April 3, 1858 purchased the 80 acres of the E1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 32 and the 80 acres of the W1/2 of the SW1/4 of Section 33, Town of Eaton from Adam Schnell –on Jan. 12, 1861 sold the 40 acres of the SE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 32 to George Fischer –on that same day, Jan, 12, 1861, sold the 40 acres of the NE1/4 of the SE1/4 of Section 32 to Xavier Heckler –likely ran a sawmill on Cedar Creed until his death and also operated a 120 acre farm centered at 9411 Steinthal Road in Section 33, Town of Eaton –his widow Adelheide sold this farm on Dec. 29, 1897 –died from “accident”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 9, Lot 11 –stone] [marriage record Fond du Lac 3-72] [death record Manitowoc 4-128]

Christian's brothers: John Joseph Casper (1809-1881) and Mathias Casper (1815-1898) are buried in St. John's Cemetery, Johnsburg WI and that his sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ternes Casper (Mrs. John Michael Casper) is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Calvary
