Christel Joseph J. Christel, 86, of St. Nazianz, died Sunday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St.Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril Dickrell will officiate with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Christel was born May 2, 1889, in the Town of Eaton,son of the late Wendel and Christina Kaiser Christel. He attended St. Gregory School and was a retired farmer. He married Rose Bushman May 4, 1915, at St. Gregory Church. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include a son, three daughters, a brother, Max, of Sheboygan; a sister, Mrs. Christina Rappel, of St. Nazianz, 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home after
4 p.m. Tuesday, where a parish prayer service will be at
8 p.m.
