Dietrich, Minnie nee Gutman (Aug. 21, 1894-Aug. 20, 1983 –wife of William Dietrich [1891-1971] –married Sept. 1, 1919 at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton –daughter of John Gutman and Christina Pfefferle –born Town of Liberty –William and Minnie took over management of the Lake View tavern and boarding house at 215 Church Street in St. Nazianz from Minnie’s father John Gutman on July 23, 1937 [they managed this building until retirement in the mid-1960’s –the building was sold to Gaylord and Jeanette Stebnitz on Nov. 2, 1981] –at time of death, Minnie lived at the Scenic View Villa at 300 South Sixth Avenue in St. Nazianz –died from “cardiac dysrhythmia, acute –congestive heart failure –arteriosclerotic heart disease”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 4, Row 9, Lot 29] [marriage record Manitowoc 15-435] [death record Manitowoc 85-116]

Mrs. William F. (Minnie) Dietrich, 88. of St. Nazianz, died Saturday afternoon, August 20, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Christianson Deja Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Dietrich was born Aug. 21, 1894, at St. Nazianz, daughter of the late John and Christian Pfefferle Gutman. She was married to William F. Dietrich, Sept. 1, 1919. Mrs. Dietrich was a member of St. Gregory Christian Mother’s Society.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Norbert and Beatrice Dietrich of Kiel, Walter and Eileen of Kiel and Hal and Mary of Brillion; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mildred and Alfred Berkey of Kewaunee, Mrs. Jean Russnak of Chicago and Mrs. Etta Sockarsky of Chicago; 28 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, a brother, two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
Friends may all at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, 4 o’clock to 9 o’clock this Monday afternoon, where a parish prayer service will be at 8 o’clock.
