Frieda C. Groh, age 90, of 2034 Jefferson St., New Holstein, died Friday, July 9, 1993, at the Calumet Homestead where she has resided for the past month.
Funeral Services will be Monday, July 12, 1993, 11 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, with the Rev. Patrick Lloyd officiating. Burial in St. Gregory Cemetery, St. Nazianz.
She was born June 24, 1903, in the Town of Eaton, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Anton and Theresa Kaltenbrun Schich. On October 14, 1925 she marrid Wililam A. Groh at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, Christian Mothers Society, Tabernacle Society, New Holstein Senior Citizens.
Survivors include three sons, Francis and Bernice Groh, New Holstein, Joseph and Joan Groh, Port Washington, Gerald and Jeanette Groh, Visalia, Calif.; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Schleh, Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Freis, Newton, Mrs. Leona Tompkins, Kiel. She was preceded in death by her husband February 3, 1975, also three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Erbe-Evjen Funeral Home, New Holstein, from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday.
