rs. William (Anna) Gutman, 87, of St. Nazianz, died Saturday morning, April 12,
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home and
11:15 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cyril Dickrell will
officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Gutman, nee Anna Breu, was born Dec. 1, 1892, at St. Nazianz, daughter of
the late Michael and Frances Zipper Breu (sic). She attended St. Gregory School
and was married to William Gutman Feb. 19, 1917, at St. Nazianz. She was a member
of St. Gregory Christian Mothers Society. Mr. Gutman preceded her in death in 1976.
Surivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Laverne Gutman of St. Nazianz,
a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Hugh Cumming of Hamilton, Mont.; a brother
Winnrich Breu of Sheboygan; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A
brother and three sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday, where a parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m.
