Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Fitzhuth L. and Bessie Hamiter Brown. She was a retired employee of the Martin Marietta Co., and a member of good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Reavis B. Davis of Mount Pleasant, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel and at the home of Mrs. Jean Brown, 3611 Duncan Street.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. Fielder Israel. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Paul Cooper, Hugh Davis, Pat Davis, Wayland Davis, Royce Breeland and Fred Auld.
