Sadkowski, Frank (April 11, 1869-Dec. 12, 1943 –husband of Mary Fessler [married Jan. 21, 1895 at Pueblo in Colorado] –son of Xaverius Sadkowski and Rosa –born Germany –immigrated to the US in about 1884 –in 1887 returned to Germany –in 1891 returned to the US, settling in Buffalo, New York –from Buffalo, Frank moved to Pueblo, Colorado where he married Mary Fessler–farmer –in 1902, Frank and Mary moved to Wisconsin –from about 1906 through 1929 operated a farm near Pigeon Lake, Town of Liberty –from May 10, 1929 until his death in 1943, lived at 101 South First Avenue in St. Nazianz –soon after his death, on Aug. 28, 1945, his widow Mary sold this house and moved to Two Rivers –died from “acute coronary occlusion –arteriosclerosis –complete heart block”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz Town of Eaton [buried in Section 3, Row 6, Lot 27 –stone –there is no name or dates shown on this stone –in 2011 the St. Nazianz Area Historical Society placed a marker on this grave] [marriage record in Colorado] [death record Manitowoc 36-572]

St. Nazianz – Frank Sadkowski, 74, passed away suddenly Sunday evening at this home in St. Nazianz. Death was due to a heart attack. Mr. Sadkowski was born in Germany on April 11, 1869, and at the age of 15 came to this country. After three years here he returned to Germany and remained there for four years before returning to the United States and settling in Buffalo, N.Y.
Later he moved to Pueblo, Colo., where on Jan. 21, 1895 he was married to Miss Mary Fessler of
St. Nazianz. In 1902 they came to Manitowoc county and settled on a farm near Pigeon Lake. In 1923 he disposed of the farm and came to St. Nazianz.
Survivors are his wife; four children; Frank of School Hill, Mrs. Mary Miller of Osman, Mrs. Clarence Nennig of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Amos Beninghaus of Two Rivers; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, a sister Mrs. Leopold Seider of Buffalo, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church the Rev. Fintan Holzknecht, S.D.S. officiating, and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
