Lorraine E. Schnell, age 88, formerly of the town of Eaton, died on Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in Plymouth.
Lorraine was born on Jan. 29, 1919, in the town of Schleswig, in Manitowoc County, the daughter of William Broeckert and Amelia Kautzer. She married Louis Schnell on Sept. 3, 1951, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. Together they farmed the family homestead their entire adult lives.

She was preceded in death on April 17, 1981, by her husband, Louis, and was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007, from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass at 6 p.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, 212 Church St., St. Nazianz. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The Jelacic Funeral Home of Milwaukee is serving the family.
