FREDERICK BROECKERT

Frederick "Fritz" E. Broeckert, 83, of Kiel, died Tuesday, March 19, 1996 at Calumet Homestead Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein, where he was a resident the past 1-1/2 months.
He was born Oct. 11, 1912 in the Town of Schleswig, son of the late William and Emilia Kautzer Broeckert.
He attended Hillside Grove School in the Town of Schleswig.
On May 18, 1927 he married Dorothy Casper at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. On Feb. 9, 1963 he married Gertrude Jaschob at St. Peter United Church of Christ, Kiel. He first operated a threshing crew from 1933 to 1950.
He was also employed as a plumber for H. Lulloff & Son, Kiel, from 1933 to his retirement in 1983.
He was a lifelong member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, one step-daughter, a step-son,seven grandchildren, seven great-granchildren, four sisters, three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Herman.
