FRANK STIEFVATER (d. 1969)

Frank Stiefvater, 83, of St. Nazianz, died Thursday at home.Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Monday at Christianson Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
The Rev. Gregory Putzer SDS, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Stiefvater was born Feb. 4, 1886, in the Town of Eaton son of the late Stephen and Catherine Endries Stiefvater, married Rose Kautzer Oct. 15, 1912, at St. Nazianz and the couple farmed until four years ago. He was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Survivors include the wife; two sons, Edwin and Fred of St. Nazianz; a daughter, Mrs. Verina Knox of Newton; a brother, Severin, of Sheboygan; two sisters, Miss Rose and Mrs. Sophie Pfeifer of Sheboygan; six grandchildren and a great grandchild. A brother and sister preceded in death.
