Cynthia Smith Moser, 57, a native of Vancouver, Wash. and resident of Bayou Dularge, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at 10:21 p.m..

Visitation will be held on Monday, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial will follow in the St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery

She is survived by her husband, Jerrold "Jerry" Moser, Bayou Dularge, La.; mother, Beverley Raynelle Rose Smith, Bayou Dularge, La.; sons, Joshua Israel Moser and wife Rebecca, Bayou Dularge, La., Jeremiah Earl Moser and wife Nena, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico, Joseph Verne Moser and fiance Natalie Pizzolatto, Bayou Dularge, La.; grandchildren, Caleb, Sarah, Jordan, Shelby, Isaac, Benjamin Moser; brother, Jimmy Ray Smith; sister, Debbie Irish.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Alvin Smith; and her sister, Michelle Smith.

She was a member of Bayou Dularge Baptist Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and "Aunt Cindy" to so many. A Missionary Pastor's wife and loving friend to all.

"Ms Cindy" was one of the most consistent examples on our Bayou of the sustaining and saving power of Christ. Her life was a constant reminder of the sufficiency of the grace of God.

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." 2 Corinthians 12:9
