Harold Asa Watson was born on August 22, 1910, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, his father, Thomas Martin Watson, was 26 and his mother, Hattie Florence Watson, was 18. He married Mabel Mary Cotter and they had two children together. He then married Helen Lois Pierce and they had one son together. He also had one son with Mattie Louise Aydelott. He died on January 19, 1973, in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, at the age of 62, and is buried there.
