BENTON - Jo Anne Walker Jacobs, of Benton, passed away Friday, OCt. 19, 2012. She was born in Spadra to the late Millard C. Walker and Emma Harmon Walker. She owned and operated Jo Anne's Hairstyles in Benton for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Benton, 50-year member of Calvary Baptist Church's choir, a Sunday School teacher and director, and a pillar of the church. She was a member of Ft. Nightly, was a fantastic cook, enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was loved by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Raymond Paul Jacobs; one son, Jeffrey Neil Jacobs; and her siblings.

Survivors include: one son, Keith Paul Jacobs, and wife, Tammy of Alexander; daughter, Krista Jean Hopkins, and husband, David of Benton; three grandchildren, Jordan and Jaret Jacobs and Griffin Hopkins; one special friend, Bobbye Lovell; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home in Benton (501-315-4047) with Bro. Oscar Golden, Bro. Carl Wright and Bro. Frank Thurman officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at the funeral home.

To honor her memory, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, Va. 22116 or Calvary Baptist Church, 612 Valley View Road, Benton, Ark. 72019.

Mrs. Jacobs spent her life serving others and, most importantly, the Lord.
