Airman 1st Class Alexander USAF was a passenger on-board US NAVY NATS flight aircraft#131612. The aircraft was a R6D1 (DC-6) type. While, making an approach to Hickham AFB, Hawaii at 0216 AM in the morning from the west. The aircraft impacted "PaliKea" mountain just outside US Naval Magazine, Naval Ammunition Depot, Lualualei. No survivors were noted. He was the son of Mrs. Catherine Alexander 43-06 45th St, Sunnyside, N.Y. and son of Anthonio A. Alexander, 255 West End Ave., New York, N.Y. His home of record as indicated by the US Governemnt records was Sunnyside, New York. This site is dedicated to remembrance of this person.
