66 wife of Charles E. Bateman, of
New Bremen, died Monday morning,
at the Loson Nursing home Beeches
Bridge, where both Mr. and Mrs. Bateman
were patients. She had been there
for three weeks with a heart ailment.
She was born In New Bremen, September
20, 1871 the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. William Darling. She was
married to Mr. Bateman at Beaver
Falls November 30, 1900. They had
always lived at New Bremen. Mrs.
Bateman was a member of the New
Bremen Methodist Episcopal church
and the Lafargeville chapter, O. E. S.
She is survived by her husband, two
brothers, Wallace Darling of Limekiln
Lake and Jerome M. Darling of
Lafargeville, and a number of nephews
and nieces: Funeral services
will be held from the New Bremen
church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon
Rev Charles W. Barrott, pastor
of New Bremen church will officiate.
Interment will be in the New
Bremen Cemetery.
