I've done a bit of everything in my 6 plus decades so there's a big chance that we've got something in common: Drove a Kenworth conventional with a 5 and a 4 Brownie and Main from California to Canada on the fruit and nuts run; Lived 35 miles from the nearest civilized outpost without running water or electric for 6 years, cooked and heated with wood, wore spurs and a holster almost everyday as we took care of a herd of horses for the Wyoming race circuit; Have observed and written all my life; Fluxed my own lead and built my own bullets for quick draw and target shooting; Sky dived, belly danced, sang in nightclubs, editor for the last real alchemist in the US, certified journeyman chiaroscuro makeup artist and esthetician; Also a proud grad and certified alum of the Charter Hospital for the Mentally Unhinged; Camped the Chattooga in a waitress uniform with my dog Sam; And loved me a lot of men. I also have a tattoo older than many of you from my Woodstock days. I'm a great listener and truly enjoy meeting new friends.

I've been a professional costumer and designer of art clothing for over forty years.
My fiber art pieces have been in art shows and galleries in several states and many are in private collections. Big deal. The most important thing that we can crow about is that we help others on their path. I like lint. It's my life. I love to look at other's creativity and cheer them on. There's too much war and not enough beauty in the world. If the Pentagon took up crochet and needlepoint instead of munitions, we'd have lots more money to spend on important things like people. Education. Greening the world. Peace.

Dina had one sister who preceded her in death - Linda Anastasia Kerik Coglinese who is buried in Hazelhurst Georgia.
