Erwin H Brost, 75 of Kiel,(School Hill) died Monday morning June 17, 1991, at St Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.
He was born on April 10, 1916, in the town of Meeme, son of the late Peter and Rose (Fessler) Brost. He attended school at St Fidelas Grade School in Spring Valley.

On November 27, 1940 he married Alma Karstaedt, in Osman. He operated a garage in School Hill for several years and then was a maintenance man at Kohler Company for 23 years, retiring in 1978. From 1978 to the present, he operated School Hill Small Engine. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic church in School Hill and the School Hill Mens Club.

Survivors include his wife, Alma; one son Dennis (Helen) of rural School Hill; three daughters, Mrs Joann (Robert) Bruesewitz of Kiel; Mrs Jermaine (Jack) Lechler, of Kiel; Mrs Joleen (Kevin) Bonde, of School Hill; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; twin brother Melvin (Evelyn) Brost of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Verena and Stella.

The funeral mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill, on Wednesday with with Rev Reginald Schrimf, pastor and Deacon James Steffen, Officiating.
