Mrs. Anna Koenig, 69, of Rt. 1, Newton, died late Saturday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel and at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, School Hill. The Rev. Reginald Schrimpf will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Koenig, nee Anna Brost, was born June 16, 1900 in Town of Meeme, daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine Stein Brost. She attended St. Fidelis Catholic School, Spring Valley. She was married to Peter Koenig April 17, 1917, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Town of Meeme. The couple located on a farm in Town of Meeme, south of Liberty Pole. Her husband preceded her in death in April, 1951.
She was later employed at the Dillingham Mfg. Co., Sheboygan, for 15 years. Mrs. Koenig was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Earl (Frances) Sievert, of Kiel, Mrs. James (Eleanor) Waller, of Saratoga, Calif.; Mrs. Robert (Janette) Olig, of Sheboygan and Mrs. Francis (Juanita) Riesterer, of Rt. 1, Kiel; four sons, Norbert, Jerome and Ervin, of Rt. 1, Newton, and Roland, of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gries, of Menasha and Mrs. Peter Gries, of Sheboygan; 29 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son and five brothers preceded her in death
