Adam C. Stein, 77, well-known resident of the town of Meeme, passed away at his home on route 1, Kiel Friday after a year's illness
He was born April 17, 1862, son of Peter and Eva Stein, and in 1913 was married to Miss Rosa Mayr, at Holy Trinity church, School Hill.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Oscar of Oshkosh, two daughters, the Misses Agnes and Charlotte at home; one brother, Peter; two sisters, Mrs. George Schwoerer and Mrs. Peter Koenig, all of St. Nazianz and a granddaughter.
He was a member of Holy Trinity church of School Hill and a member of the Holy Name society of that church.
