       PEORIA HEIGHTS -- Ida Pearl Masters, 77, of 708 Euclid died at
8:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, 1993, at her residence.

       Born June 23, 1915, in Dunlap to John and Katie Cation Hartter,
she married Edgar Masters on Nov. 27, 1941, in Peoria.  He survives.

       Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Bonnie) Barber
of Dunlap and Nadine Gerber of Peoria; two grandchildren; three great-
grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.  She was preceded in
death by one grandson, four brothers and one sister.

       She was a charter member of Northminster Presbyterian Church in
Peoria and a member of its 55 Club.

       Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church, where
visitation will be one hour before services.  The Rev. Dr. Roane Deckert
and the Rev. Robert Breed will officiate.  Burial will be in Parkview
Cemetery in Peoria. Cumerford-Endsley Memorial Home is in charge of
arrangements.

       Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.  @ART
