Marilou Alender, 83, of Albuquerque, N.M., passed away on Sunday (Oct. 28, 2012).
She was born Oct. 23, 1929 in Vandalia, the daughter of Ruby Gray Crothers and Elmer Crothers. She married Thomas M. Alender on June 29, 1947 in Vandalia. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 1979. Also preceding her in death was a son, T. Scott and a sister, Dorothy Lentz.
She is survived by a daughter, Sheila of Albuquerque; a son, John Alender; a sister, Donna Elam; a brother-in-law, Clarence (Mary) Alender; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three nieces; five nephews and 18 great-nieces and great-nephews.
