I retired after 21 years in the US Army and then finished my bachlors degree, and am working on my masters. Since retiring I have began to work on my family genealogy in earnest. Family surnames include Tate, Newburn, Fox, Lilly, Roach, Harding, Roney, Anspach, and Leffler, as well as a dozen others whenever I get time to pursue them.
I'd like to leave documented records for my children and grandchildren so they can see where their roots are.

I live near Springfield, Illinois in Sangamon county but travel to the southern counties of Effingham, Fayette, Shelby and Christian often and would be glad to try to find and take pictures of the graves of relatives for those who live too far away to do the work themselves.
