I am an appreciative consumer of the information posted here, and I'm grateful to all of your contributors for the information I've been able to find about my ancestors on this site. I've tried to make some small contribution by passing along documents and images in my possession that pertain to many of my ancestors reported in this service.

Professionally, I was a tax accountant (retired since 2012); preferentially, I got an MA in History from UTSA in 2006. I am fascinated by how my ancestors were moved by historical events, and I've learned some surprising things about them in this process.

I also take great pleasure in updating and connecting related entries as I've done my research into the family forest I'm building. Many thanks to all of the members who make contributions to this site, especially those who have helped me fill in some blanks.

Use of military rank is reserved for career 20-year retirees or KIA. Its use as a prefix other than these circumstances is inappropriate.
