Find a Grave ID

Bio

I live in Shippensburg, PA (south-central PA). Interest in surnames: Fritz, Mackey, Baker, Bard, Weaver, Ocker, Shoemaker, Hefflefinger, and many others. I am looking for old family photos for the above families, especially, the Weavers I have records for. I love old photos and would like to hear from you. Please use my photos, but please be polite and ask permission first, and please cite Find A Grave as the source (let's get as many people involved as possible). It's not a matter of what is legal; it's a matter of what is polite. And please use my obituaries too. I have spent a lot of time taking photos, and finding obituaries, so I would like to be given credit for my work.

I believe transfers should be done to family regardless of the four generation "guideline"...family should be with family; first come first serve. I don't understand why someone would hold on to a record if they have no family ties. I have found that being the keeper of a memorial is very valuable for connecting with living relatives; making it possible to share family information and photos.

I prefer to keep my memorials in the Shoemaker Cemetery and Smith Cemetery, as most of them are direct relatives. I will be more than glad to do links and edits. Accuracy is important to me. Thanks to all volunteers for their hard work!!!
