The Roxbury Union Cemetery Association was created to preserve and restore the Roxbury Union Cemetery. The Association mows the cemetery as needed, is repairing stones, and is cleaning stones. The Roxbury Union Cemetery Association pays for all expenses associated with the Cemetery through fundraising and donations. The Cemetery and Association are not financially supported by government groups or local churches.

Another goal of the Roxbury Union Cemetery Association is to preserve history and help assist those interested with research. There are many unmarked graves in the cemetery.

We currently have at least 40 veterans resting in the cemetery. There are approximately 2 American Revolution Veterans, 23 Civil War Veterans, as well as Veterans of WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, and 1 War of 1812 Veteran.
