Mrs. Harold (Eunice M.) Brixius, 63, of 806 S. 28th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday, July 7, 1988 at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be 9:30 am Monday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by Revs. Richard Heyman and Ronald Reimer and entombment will be in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.

Mrs. Brixius was born October 27, 1924 at Manitowoc, Wisconsin, daughter of the late John and Bernice Kaczmarek Sobieski.

She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1942.

She was married to Harold F. Brixius, August 14, 1943 at Manitowoc.

She and her husband, Harold, were partners in Manitowoc Designers of Steel. Mrs. Brixius was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Manitowoc Senior Citizens, St. Paul Catholic church and St. Paul Parish Women.

Survivors include her husband, Harold; seven children, Janet Weiss, John (Jana) Brixius,, Jean (David) Zlch, Diane (Gale) Mittnacht, Dan Brixius, Michael (Mary Jo) Brixius, Tom (Peggy) Brixius, all of Manitowoc; a brother, Chester (Emily) Sobieski of Manitowoc; a sister, Evelyn (Florian) Jankowski of Manitowoc; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Josephine and Francis Powalicz of Manitowoc; her mother-in-law, Clara Brixius of Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Charles Weiss.

Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 5 pm to 9 pm Sunday, where a prayer service will conclude the visitation at 8:45 pm.
