MRS McCARTHY DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Mrs. John McCarthy, 78 a pioneer resident of the county, passed away on Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jesse Johnson of Valders, with whom she has been making her home since last June. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning from the Johnson home to the St. Mary Catholic Church at Clarks Mills at ten o'clock with interment in the cemetery there.

The maiden name of the deceased was Hannah Cavanaugh and she was born in Maple Grove May 18, 1853. After her marriage to John McCarthy they made their home on a farm in the town of Cato. Twenty years ago they retired and removed to this city, living at 311 Washington Street. Mr. McCarthy passed away fourteen years ago.

Five daughters, Mrs. Neil McCully of this city, Mrs. O.J. Wagner and Mrs. A.C. Murphy of Chilton, Mrs. Jesse Johnson and Mrs. Verne Johnson of Valders; three sons, John of Cato, Ray of this city and Donald of Milwaukee and one brother, Thomas Cavanaugh of Minden, Nebr., survive.

MRS McCARTHY DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
