Eleanor was born on July 2, 1927 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Charles and Sophia (Bellar) Eurich. She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High in 1945.
Eleanor was united in marriage to Roger Speckman on January 10, 1948, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Eleanor was active in the American Red Cross and assisted at the blood bank. Eleanor was also a health room aide in the public schools for some time. Eleanor was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; two sons, David (Carol) Speckman, Medina, Ohio and Gary (Susan) Speckman, Plover, WI.; one daughter, Mrs. Shelley (Timothy) Gessler, Sheboygan; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Emily Salber, Sheboygan; Mrs. Elsie Bartelt, Neenah, WI and her stepmother, Mrs. Anna Eurich, Sheboygan.
Funeral services for Eleanor will be held on Saturday, November 18, 1989, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Redeker, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Saturday, from 9 a.m. until time of services.
In lieu of flower, memorials can be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
