KAY A. AUGUSTINE
Kay A. Augustine, age 61, of 1115 S. 24th St., Manitowoc, died on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 9, 2006, at her residence. She was born Jan. 14, 1945, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Reuben and Jane (Burich) Kubichka.
Kay was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, class of 1963. On Sept. 23, 1993, she married Michael Augustine in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on March 2, 2001. Kay was employed by Fisher Hamilton for 30 years until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed spending time with her family and also loved to read books and gardening.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Roger and Tova Mott, Virginia; one granddaughter: Molly Mott; one grandson: Reese Mott, Madison; four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Nancy and Al Madel, Seymour; Marian Rabideau, Green Bay; Susan and Pete Goltz, Green Bay; Julie and Brian Longtin, De Pere; one brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth and Patti Kubichka, Two Rivers; four stepbrothers: Leroy Patske, Michael Thomas, Ronald Thomas and Donald Thomas, all of Green Bay; three best friends: Janice Fosmo, Sandy Todle and Verna Proehl, all of Manitowoc; many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Augustine family; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Kay was also preceded in death by one son: Vincent Mott; one sister: Diane Kubichka; and one nephew: Jeff Rabideau.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt with burial of the cremated remains at Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc from 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m.
