San Diego businesswoman, Gail G. Darr, who owned and operated Gail's Fashions in North Park from 1953 to 1963 and later spent 12 years as a department manager in the May Company Mission Valley store, died Friday in her home. She was 65.
The North Park resident had lived in the county for 37 years.
Mrs. Darr was born in Seward, Nebraska.
Surviving are her husband, Gene L, a brother Merrill A. Gadeke of San Diego; and a grandson.
Services are set for 1 p.m. tomorrow in El Camino Mortuary Chapel to be followed by burial in El Camino Memorial Park.
