Joseph H. Gagnon, age 72, of the Town of Two Rivers, WI, died Monday morning, September 21, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care Center (formerly Hamilton Care Center), Two Rivers.
Joseph was born January 31, 1943 in Milwaukee, son of the late Joseph W. and Ernestine (Menges) Gagnon. On August 8, 1964 he married the former Marie Geier at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
Joseph was an auto mechanic for Krajnik Automotive for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife Marie Gagnon, Town of Two Rivers; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Bryan (Sheri) Gagnon, Ottawa, KS; Jason Gagnon, Town of Two Rivers; one sister Julie Springstube, Manitowoc; and one sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Betty and Bob Cavanaugh, Cato. Joseph is further survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by two sisters Coralee Schwalbe and Kathy Schroeder.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Maurice Mmegbuadimma with entombment to take place following services at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers is assisting the Gagnon family with funeral arrangements.
